Pagid Racing RSL compounds are developed for the demands of endurance racing and are designed to meet or exceed current automotive ecological standards.
RS19 and RS29 are very similar compounds, both offering a medium friction level, consistent braking feel and strong wear characteristics.
RSL 29 offers very good modulation and release characteristics. It is a low-metallic, resin-bonded material containing steel and aramid fibres. The friction level remains consistent at a low-to-medium level, and the compound is also known for easy bedding-in.
RSL 29 key features:
• Medium friction coefficient
• Long pad and disc life
• Easy bedding-in
RSL 29 application range:
Very popular for club racing and track days, as well as GT cars, Touring cars and prototype endurance racing. Its excellent modulation also makes it suitable for sprint race use.
RSL 19 is a low-metallic, resin-bonded material containing steel and aramid fibres. It maintains a consistent friction level across a broad temperature range and provides very good modulation and release characteristics.
RSL 19 key features:
• Medium friction coefficient
• Stable in-stop friction
• Very disc-friendly with long pad life
RSL 19 application range:
Often used on the rear axle in combination with RSL 1 or RSL 2 on the front axle in heavier GT3 / GTE cars. It can also be used on the front axle of lighter GT and Touring cars.
RSL 1 is a low-metallic, resin-bonded material containing steel and aramid fibres with high heat resistance. It maintains a stable friction level across a wide temperature range, with low wear and good disc-friendly characteristics.
RSL 1 key features:
• High friction coefficient
• Long pad and disc life
• Good friction stability across temperature changes
RSL 1 application range:
Suitable for GT cars, Touring cars and prototype endurance racing. Thanks to its high friction level and good modulation, it is also commonly used in sprint racing.
Please note: Pagid RSL brake pads are designed for competition and off-road use only. They are not approved for road use.
